Squid Grilled Rujak Seasoning


Material :


  • 9 pieces of medium size squid, and clean
  • 3 orange leaves, remove the bone
  • 500 ml of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons of tamarind juice




Ground spices :


  • 6 red chilies
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 6 red chilies
  • Long chili / chili according to taste
  • 3 pecan nuts
  • 1 turmeric segment
  • Salt to taste
  • Adequate sugar



How to cook :


  • Clean the squid first by washing it clean (the ink bag is removed).
  • Blend the spices using a blender or press until they are completely smooth.
  • After boiling the cleaned squid using coconut milk, along with the mashed spices, add the tamarind to it.
  • Cook using low heat until the spices dry. After that, remove the heat and cool.
  • Use a skewer to pierce the squid from head to back.
  • After the piercing is finished, then you prepare the combustion or grill.
  • Bake the squid that has been stabbed and make sure the squid does not burn.
  • Don't forget to smear your squid with rujak ingredients until cooked evenly on all parts of the squid and smell the delicious aroma of seasoning.
  • Once cooked, you lift the squid from the grill and remove the squid from the stab.
  • Serve rujak seasoning squid with its own decoration and taste, and serve in warm conditions.
