Buckeye Pie Recipe
"Who has ever said that chocolate and peanut butter is a bad combination ?! Our love for buckeye all knows no bounds (proof: Buckeye Banana Bread, Buckeye Cookies, Buckeye Pops), but this pie is our number one. It's rich enough for a holiday dessert, but also without roasting, so you can make it all summer.

INGREDIENTS
- 20 Oreos, destroyed
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) of butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 2/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon. halal salt
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chip
- 3/4 c. thick cream
DIRECTION
- In a large bowl, mix Oreo with melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are moistened evenly and press into a pie plate.
- In a large bowl, mix the butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Using a hand mixer, whip the ingredients until smooth. Spoon the mixture into a crust and smooth. Place it in the freezer when you make ganache.
- Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-resistant bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the cream until the cream begins to boil. Pour in the chocolate and let stand 5 minutes before whisking until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the peanut butter and puree. Chill until ready, about 1 hour. Serve
