Sauteed Shrimp Simple Tofu


Sauteed Shrimp ingredients:


  • 350 grams of medium-sized fresh shrimp
  • 2 large white tofu, diced
  • 10 threads of chickpeas, cut into slices about 3 cm
  • 1 sliced ​​red tomato
  • 2 large red chilies, cut into slices
  • 1 lemongrass in geprek
  • 2 cm thick galangal
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Enough water
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil for sautéing




Shrimp Sauce Seasoning:


  • 15 cayenne fruit
  • 5 shallots
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon of powdered pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Brown sugar according to taste
  • Flavor or broth to taste


How to make :


  • Peel and clean the shrimp skin, and remove the head. Wash thoroughly using running water. And drain.
  • Then make spices by smoothing cayenne pepper, onion grains, garlic cloves, teh teaspoon of pepper powder, salt to taste, brown sugar to taste.
  • Prepare a skillet and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of cooking oil. After heat, add the mashed and sauteed seasoning until the spices emit a fragrant aroma.
  • Add other un-mashed spices such as lemongrass, galangal and bay leaves, then stir until all of these herbs wither and give off a delicious smell.
  • Add the shrimp to the sauteed seasoning, wait for the shrimp to turn red or orange.
  • Add the red chilies and tomatoes that have been cut into a mixture of shrimp and seasoning.
  • Add enough water and pour into it, wait for the water to boil and stir so that the spices and shrimp blend or infuse.
  • Add the white cubes that have been cut into cubes before, and wait for the broth to shrink. While waiting for the sauce to shrink don't forget to stir it occasionally.
  • If sauteed shrimp has shrunk the water, add it with flavoring or with a powder broth.
  • Stir-fried tofu shrimp ready to be served with warm rice.
