Bacon Cheddar Quiche



Material

  • 1 (9 inches) crust pie for deep frying pan
  • 1/2 lb. bacon - cooked and chopped
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of grated onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 8 ounces of grated sharp cheddar
  • 4-5 ounces of grated white cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese


Step


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Place the pie crust in a pan that is slightly lubricated.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs until they are light and fluffy.
  • Add milk, sour cream, onion, salt, pepper and mix well.
  • Cover grated cheese in a pie pan.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the minced meat over the quiche.
  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the quiche and bake for another 5-8 minutes - check the maturity. If the crust is too dark, cover with foil for the rest of the time.
  • Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
