Bacon Cheddar Quiche
Material
- 1 (9 inches) crust pie for deep frying pan
- 1/2 lb. bacon - cooked and chopped
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 2 tablespoons of grated onions
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 8 ounces of grated sharp cheddar
- 4-5 ounces of grated white cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese
Step
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Place the pie crust in a pan that is slightly lubricated.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs until they are light and fluffy.
- Add milk, sour cream, onion, salt, pepper and mix well.
- Cover grated cheese in a pie pan.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the minced meat over the quiche.
- Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the quiche and bake for another 5-8 minutes - check the maturity. If the crust is too dark, cover with foil for the rest of the time.
- Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
