Extra Large Crispy Fried Chicken






"Satisfying, Once again proving "more is more."



INGREDIENTS



  • 2 chicken legs
  • 2 cups of corn flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • ½ cup of white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • The oil for frying


Layer:



  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • 3 tablespoons of broth, from cooking chicken


INSTRUCTIONS



  • Place the cornflakes in the bag, and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • Cut the chicken thigh along the bone and open it.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Place them skin side down in a large skillet, and cook on medium heat until browned.
  • Turn over and add white wine and bay leaves.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for 8 minutes.
  • Once fully cooked, let the chicken cool in the broth.
  • After chilling, leave 3 tablespoons of chicken broth.
  • Mix ingredients for layers in a bowl.
  • Cover the chicken evenly in layers. Make sure to firmly press corn flakes.
  • Fry in oil heated to 340 degrees until completely brown and crispy.
