Extra Large Crispy Fried Chicken
"Satisfying, Once again proving "more is more."
INGREDIENTS
- 2 chicken legs
- 2 cups of corn flakes
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder
- ½ cup of white wine
- 1 bay leaf
- The oil for frying
Layer:
- 1 egg
- ½ cup cake flour
- 3 tablespoons of broth, from cooking chicken
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the cornflakes in the bag, and crush them with a rolling pin.
- Cut the chicken thigh along the bone and open it.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Place them skin side down in a large skillet, and cook on medium heat until browned.
- Turn over and add white wine and bay leaves.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 8 minutes.
- Once fully cooked, let the chicken cool in the broth.
- After chilling, leave 3 tablespoons of chicken broth.
- Mix ingredients for layers in a bowl.
- Cover the chicken evenly in layers. Make sure to firmly press corn flakes.
- Fry in oil heated to 340 degrees until completely brown and crispy.
