¾ cup of mayo (I prefer to use mayo olive oil to reduce fat & calories)
¼ cup of sour cream
1 Milk spoonful
½ teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
¼ teaspoon of crushed red pepper - optional
For salads:
8 ounces of spiral pasta
3-4 cups of chopped romaine lettuce (or a 10 ounce romaine lettuce packet)
1 pint of grape tomatoes - halved
1 ½ cup grated shredded cheese
1 ½ cup slice of bacon (not given artificial flavor - about 6 ounces)
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the sauce by stirring mayo together, sour cream, milk, pepper, salt, garlic powder and crushed red peppers (if using) until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
Prepare pasta according to package instructions. After finishing cooking, drain well and transfer to a large salad bowl.
Add chopped lettuce, grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese, slices of meat, and prepared sauce.
