INGREDIENTSFOR COOKIE DOUGH
- 1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter, soft
- 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon. pure vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 c. crushed graham crackers
- 1 1/2 tsp. halal salt
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 1/3 c. mini chocolate chips
FOR WHIPPED CREAMS
- 1 c. mini chocolate chips, plus more for toppings
- 2 (8 ounces) packet of whipped cream, thawed
- 8 chocolate chip cookies (like Ahoy Chips), plus a topping
FOR CHOCOLATE PUDDING
- 2 (3,4-oz.) Box of instant chocolate pudding mixture
- 4 c. cold milk
DIRECTION
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to whisk the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Mix graham crackers, salt, and milk, then fold in chocolate chips. Crush and pour 1/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the trivial cup.
- Make a layer of whipped cream: Mix chocolate chips and Cool Whip. Pour 1/3 of the mixture over the cake mixture on a trivial plate. Coat whipped cream with a layer of chocolate chip cookies.
- Make a chocolate custard layer: Mix the mixture of pudding and milk, stir until the granules dissolve. Let the pudding set, 5 minutes, then pour 1/3 of the mixture over the cookie, leveling it to make an even layer.
- Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the plate.
- Cover the whole trifle with the remaining whipped cream. Chill for at least 2 hours, to soften the cake layer. Sprinkle chocolate with chips and cookies before serving
