Coconut Bars

INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups of grated coconut without added sugar
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 1 cup of chopped semi-chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup grated half cooked chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a food processor, mix grated coconut for 3 minutes. Add condensed milk and blend until the mixture is formed. Transfer the dough to a square baking sheet lined with baking paper and use a spatula to even out a thickness of about 1/2 inch. Chill for 1 hour.
- Remove the hardened dough from the baking sheet, and cut it into bars. Flatten the edges, then return to the refrigerator until needed.
- Using a double boiler, melt 1 cup of chopped chocolate. Remove from the heat and add grated chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate is melted. Add coconut oil and stir well. Dip each coconut tree in melted chocolate, then arrange it on a baking sheet lined with parchment oiled. Chill until the chocolate dries.
