Hong Kong Bolu Cheese



Ingredients

  • 4 grains of egg yolk
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon SP (I skip)
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 60 grams of flour
  • 10 grams of cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 30 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 50 grams of butter (melted)
  • 30 grams of grated cheddar cheese for topping
  • Almonds for toppings


How to Make Hong Kong Cheese Bolu


  • Beat the egg yolks, with SP and sugar until thick.
  • Enter the liquid milk and vanilla essence, then the ingredients are just flat and set aside
  • Beat the egg white, salt and ctt until the foam comes out, then enter the sugar gradually as you continue to shake until it is inflated stiffly. then enter the egg yolk whisk while mixed with low speed for a while.
  • Add flour, cornstarch and baking powder while sifting and stirring slowly with a spatula. then add the grated cheese and mix well.
  •  Add melted butter stir with spatula until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a cup, then sprinkle with grated cheese and almonds.
  • Bake the mixture in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 20 minutes (adjust the oven respectively).
