GREEN TEA MELTING MOMENTS

Material:

  • 200 grams of medium / all purpose flour
  • 60 grams of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp milk powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 125 grams of unsalted butter
  • 100 grams of margarine
  • 30 grams of refined sugar (if you want sweeter you can use 50 grams a little)
  • 1 tsp vanilla (I use 1/2 tsp of vanilla milk, L'Arome milk)
  • 2 tsp matcha powder (green tea powder), dissolve with a little hot water, cool

  • Dusting / coating:
  • Refined sugar and donut sugar to taste
  • Matcha powder (optional)

How to make:

  • Mix and sift flour, cornstarch, powdered milk and salt. Set it aside.
  • Beat butter and margarine until smooth. It doesn't need to be fluffy and fluffy. Add the sugar, shake again until blended. Add vanilla and green tea solution, shake well. Turn off the mixer.
  • Enter the flour mixture. Mix well with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  • Wrap the container with plastic wrap. Add the mixture to the refrigerator. Let stand about 1 hour so that the mixture is more set and easy to form (the initial mixture is soft).
  • Prepare a baking sheet, cover with baking paper. Preheat the 160'C oven.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, form a spherical round shape with a diameter of about 2.5 cm. Arrange in a baking sheet, give a sufficient distance.
  • Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, enough so that the edges start to look slightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven, leave it in a pan for about 5 minutes. Lift, give dusting refined sugar and sugar donut. Let it cool completely. Give a little dusting matcha powder.

Note: If the mixture is rather sticky in the hand when it is formed. Baluri your palms with a little flour to make it easier to form.
