Delicious and Savory Rice Flour Klepon Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 50 gram rice flour.
- Soft sticky rice flour 250 grams.
- Green pasta or green coloring 2 tablespoons.
- 200 gram red sugar, thin comb.
- 1 pandan leaves, make a knot.
- Grated coconut 100 grams.
- 200 ml boiled water.
- A solution of betel lime 2 teaspoons.
- 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions
- Prepare a pan container to mix and make the klepon cake mixture.
- Then add the rice flour and sticky rice flour into the pan container. Stir well.
- Next enter 2 tablespoons of pandan paste and 2 teaspoons of whiting water, mix well.
- Add boiled water little by little while kneading until the klepon mixture is felt to be quite flexible and easy to form.
- If the main mixture of the Klepon cake is flexible enough, then shape and round it according to the size of each taste.
- Flatten and add enough brown sugar to taste. Round again.
- Do the steps above until all of these dough is used up and all have been formed.
- When it has been formed, heat the water and boil the cake mixture that has been formed using medium heat. cook until the klepon cake floats. Drain well.
- Prepare a steamer in the form of a cage or steamer pan. Meanwhile, take a medium-sized container and then add grated coconut, salt and pandan leaves. then steam for a while.
- Finally, take the boiled klepon cake then roll it into the grated coconut one by one until the klepon surface is covered with grated coconut.
- Arrange on a serving plate and Serve the klepon rice flour cake to fill the savory brown sugar with sweet tea.
