Cumi Sambal Pedas




Material:


  • 100 grams of squid (clean and cut round like a ring)
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 1 tsp orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of tamarind juice
  • 1 cm of turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 5 green cayenne pepper (remove seeds and slices)



Ground spices:


  • 50 grams of red chili
  • 6 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves (roasted)
  • 3 candlenut (roasted)
  • 1 tsp shrimp paste


How to cook :


  • Remdam the squid with enough orange juice, turmeric and salt for 15 minutes
  • Blend all the spices, then set aside
  • Heat the cooking oil in a pan and add the sauteed seasoning until fragrant
  • Add acidic water, coconut milk and salt to taste, stirring until boiling
  • Add the green squid and chili, stir until evenly and the sauce thickens
  • After cooking, lift and serve in serving dishes, decorate according to taste
