INGREDIENTSFOR COOKIES
- 2 1/2 Butter butter sticks, softened
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon. baking soda powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. semisweet chips
TO CHARGE CHEESE CREAM
- 12 ounces of cream cheese, soft
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- a little salt
DIRECTION
- Preheat the oven to 375º and coat a large baking sheet with baking paper.
- Make cheese cake filling: Mix cream cheese, refined sugar and salt in a small bowl. Stir until evenly mixed. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until tight, about 30 minutes.
- Make cookie dough: Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Gently shake the vanilla and egg extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the butter-sugar mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to harden, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Make cookies: Take about one tablespoon of cake mixture and spread it out into a flat circle like a pancake. Spoon about 2 teaspoons of cheesecake in the middle. Form one more spoonful of the cake mixture into a flat circle and place it on top of the contents. Pinch the edges to seal, then roll the filled dough into a ball.
- Bake the cake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it's a little golden.
