INGREDIENTS
- 1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients for the box
- 2 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. butter, soft
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. milk
- a pinch of halal salt
- 2 c. chocolate chip
- 3/4 c. thick cream
DIRECTION
- Preheat the oven to 350 ° and coat the 8 "-x-8" pan with baking paper.
- Prepare the brownie mixture according to the package instructions. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick is inserted into the center out with only a few wet crumbs, about 20 minutes. Let it cool completely in the pan.
- Make peanut butter toppings: In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter and butter. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, 1 tablespoon of milk, and salt. Mix until smooth and fluffy. The mixture must be thick but can be spread; if the mixture is too stiff, add another spoonful of milk.
- Spread peanut butter with toppings on cold brownies. Cool when you make ganache.
- Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-resistant bowl and set aside. Heat the thick cream in a small saucepan over medium heat. When the bubbles start to break the surface around the edge of the pan, turn off the heat.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chip. Let stand for 5 minutes, then keep stirring until the sauce is smooth. Pour over the peanut butter layer.
- Chill the brownies until the ganache is ready, about 15 minutes. Slice it into a box and serve cold.
