Sfogliatella
What and how to make Sfogliatella.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 pieces of puff pastry (10 cm x 20 cm)
- 30 grams of butter, softened at room temperature
- 100 gram cream cheese
- 50 grams of orange jam
- Flour
- Candied sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
- Flour your work surface and place a sheet of puff pastry on it. Scroll to a rectangular shape (10 cm x 40 cm). Apply melted butter on one side. Do the same with the other two puff pastry sheets, place one on top of the other. Roll the dough and let it cool for an hour.
- Slice it into 1 centimeter thick. Wrap each section thin (about 2 mm). Print with your fingers into a flat disc.
- Add a spoonful of cream cheese and orange jam to the center of the mixture. Fold and tighten the edges firmly.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 220 degrees C. Sprinkle with candied sugar and serve.
