Chorizo & Cheese Skillet Bread
"Taste this mixture of chorizo cheese sauce and dough is the perfect party dish to share!
INGREDIENTS
- 500g of strong white flour
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 7g fast action yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 300 ml of water
For sauce:
- 150g chorizo
- 150g sweet peppers
- 150g of cream cheese
- 100ml sour cream
- 1/2 tsp dried chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 75g grated parmesan
- 150g of grated mozzarella
- 100 ml of olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix flour and salt then mix in yeast, add olive oil, then enough water to combine them into soft dough.
- Knead by hand until smooth and smooth, or in a mixer stand for 10 minutes.
- Place the mixture in a clean bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rise for 1.5 hours or until the size is doubled. Meanwhile fill.
- Cut the chorizo and saute until brown, then drain on kitchen paper.
- Slice the paprika smoothly.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream, chili, and salt.
- Add the chorizo and paprika and stir until smooth.
- Add grated cheese - save one third each to sprinkle above.
- When the dough is ready, tap again and roll one third into a circle large enough to cover the bottom of your pan.
- Divide and shape the rest into golf-sized balls.
- Position the ball around the edge of the pan, so they only touch.
- Cover it up, and let it rise again for 30 minutes until they rise at least half.
- Preheat the oven with a 200C fan.
- Freely brush the dough with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top of the sauce and bake for 20 minutes until the mixture is brown and rising.
- Brush the mixture with more olive oil immediately after baking.
- Serve hot, straight from the pan (be careful, because it will be very hot!)
