Pineapple Slaw




Material

  • 1 20 oz. can pineapple tidbits
  • 3 cups of grated cabbage (1 bag of lettuce mixture)
  • 1/4 cup of almonds cut
  • 3-4 green onions - chopped
  • Dress up
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 3-4 tablespoons of brown sugar ** more or less to your liking
  • 3-4 tablespoons of pineapple juice - ordered from dried pineapple pieces
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper is broken
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red peppers


Step.


  • Pineapple drain tidbits order juice. Set aside

  • In a small bowl or jar with a lid, add yogurt, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, pineapple juice, pepper and red pepper. Mix well. In a large bowl, add cabbage, pineapple tidbid, almonds and green onions. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir until smooth. Sprinkle more red peppers if desired.

  • Cover and place in the refrigerator to cool until ready to be served.
