Easy Mongolian Beef




Material:

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp of chopped ginger
  • 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 pound of lean beef


Instructions:



  • The first step is brown ground beef with ginger and garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat, until the beef is crushed and cooked. Drain the fat and return the pan to the stove.
  • And then, mix soy sauce, brown sugar and hoisin sauce in a small dish and pour it into the beef mixture. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes to mix the flavor. Meanwhile on a small plate combine 1/4 cup of water along with 2 tablespoons of corn flour. Pour the mixture into the ground beef and stir until the sauce thickens.
