INGREDIENTS



  • 130g of butter
  • 100 g of caster sugar
  • 150g of pink sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100g of flour
  • 50g strong white flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 115g slices of milk chocolate
  • 115g chunks of dark chocolate
  • Peeled salt, for decoration



INSTRUCTIONS



  • In a large skillet, melt the butter and stir for about 5 minutes, until it starts to turn brown. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, shake sugar, salt, and butter. Beat eggs and vanilla, beat then strain the flour and bicarbonate of soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula.
  • Fold it into chunks of chocolate, then chill the dough for 30 minutes, or overnight (you don't need to chill the dough, but it improves the taste).
  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 160 C fan.
  • Spoon the mixture with an ice cream spoon on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving at least 4 inches of space between the cake and 2 inches of space from the edge of the pan so the cake can spread evenly.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges have begun to brown.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with scaly salt, then let it cool.
